Talastasan sa Diliman: Assessing the Results of ST System Applications in UPD (28 November 2014)

Talastasan sa Diliman is a series of forums organized by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (OVCSA) in cooperation with different student groups and other organizations in and out of the University. Last month, the inaugural Talastasan was held in partnership with the Philippine Collegian and the National Service Traning Program (NSTP) of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy designed to examine the contemporary role and relevance of student activism. It was participated by the University’s key student political alliances and attended by hundreds of students.

This month’s Talastasan is scheduled on Friday, 28 November 2014, 5:30-7:00 pm, at the CSSP Audio-Visual Room (Palma Hall 207). It aims to assess the results of the Socialized Tuition (ST) System applications in UP Diliman that were processed this year. It will feature the presentations of University Registrar Evangeline Amor and the Office of Scholarships and Student Services (OSSS) Officer-in-Charge Niel Kenneth Jamandre. Members of the University Student Council, the main partner of OVCSA for this month’s forum, will lead the panel of reactors.

Should you have any questions or concerns about the said forum, please do not hesitate to contact Ms. Joy Aberin or Ms. Lyn Sandoval of OSSS at UP local 4505. You may also email them at sts.diliman@up.edu.ph.
