2024 EUROPEAN HIGHER EDUCATION FAIR

The EU Delegation to the Philippines invites UP Diliman students to attend the European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) on November 22 and 23, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM at Level 3 and Level 4, EDSA Wing, Robinsons Galleria, Ortigas. This free event provides opportunities for students to explore courses, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities from top European Union higher education institutions.

The fair will also feature country presentations, EHEI presentations, and special talks from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

CAREER IN PUBLIC SERVICE TALK (CiPST)

The Philippine Center for Economic Development (PCED) and the UP School of Economics (UPSE), in collaboration with the Program in Development Economics Alumni Association (PDEAA), are hosting their first Career in Public Service Talks (CiPST) and Job Fair this year.

This event introduces UP students to careers in government, offering insights into opportunities for public service and personal development.

This forum has:

• presentations from selected government agencies (e.g. Department of Budget and Management, Department of Trade and Industry, and the National Economic and Development Authority.)
• a segment featuring accomplished public service professionals, where speakers will share their career experiences
• government agency booths where students may inquire about internship or employment opportunities.

The Career in Public Service Talks (CiPST) will take place on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.

UP OIL DILIMAN UMALOHOKAN SERIES

The Office of International Linkages Diliman (OILD) is inviting students to the next installment its UMALOHOKAN SERIES: Information session on the Oxford Certificate Programme at Worcester College for Summer 2025. This will be held at the Virata School of Business Room 118, November 15, 2024 from 2pm to 3:30pm.

According to the University of Oxford, “this academic study abroad programme offers cutting-edge subjects designed to complement a student’s existing studies, providing them with methodologies and case studies. Students participate in academic courses on various subjects and experience teaching in an authentic Oxford college setting. This will be done according to the Oxford teaching model: smallgroup interactive classes with individualised feedback and class participation. All academic teaching the courses will be tutors at the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge.”
