ICESMED 2025: CONFERENCE ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The UP Institute for Small-Scale Industries invites faculty members, researchers, and students to submit abstracts for paper and poster presentations to the 2nd International Conference on Entrepreneurship and SME Development, with the theme “The Twin Transition: Steering MSMEs Toward a Sustainable and Inclusive Future.”

Faculty members, researchers, extension officers, practitioners, students, and other interested individuals

About the Conference
The University of the Philippines Institute for Small-Scale Industries (UP ISSI) is organising this two-day research conference that aims to bring together academics, researchers, scholars and postgraduate students from around the world and provide a platform where they can share their work in advancing new knowledge in the fields of entrepreneurship and small and medium enterprise (SME) development.

Conference Objectives
1. Publish papers presented during the conference to disseminate the new knowledge to a wide community of researchers and scholars as possible.
2. Generate insights from experts and fellow participants to refine work of the presenters in an academic and professional setting.
3. Publish papers presented during the conference to disseminate the new knowledge to a wide community of researchers and scholars as possible.
4. Advance the new knowledge presented during the conference for policy development through the conference proceedings that will be part of the research domain.

ASEAN CARD NEWS CONTEST 2025

Human Asia invites everyone to apply for the 2025 ASEAN Card News Contest. Participants are encouraged to create card news entries on one of the following themes: Democracy and Human Rights in ASEAN, Human Trafficking in ASEAN, or Freedom of Expression in ASEAN. The contest will kick off with an orientation session on May 9. All entries must be submitted by June 1, 11:59 PM (KST).

Eligibility
Youth (any and all persons ages 19-34) of all nationality
Only one submission per person is allowed

Prize
15 winners will each receive $100
