#OpportunitiesCorner: Week 3 – October 2026

Hello there! The UP Diliman Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs’ #OpportunitiesCorner is an update on available scholarships, exchange programs, conferences, workshops, and other skill-enhancing initiatives for UP Diliman students.

Here’s for the 3rd Week of October 2026:

MORES CONGRESS

The Market Research Organization of the Philippines (MORES) invites faculty members and undergraduate students to participate in the MORES National Insights & Market Research Congress 2026, to be held on October 26–27, 2026, at SMX Aura. Under the theme “Future in Motion,” the Congress will bring together leaders in market research, consumer insights, marketing, and strategy to explore the future of the industry.

As a special offer for the academic community, full-time faculty members and undergraduate students registering in groups of five (5) or more may avail of a discounted registration fee of ₱1,000 per delegate. As the registration website may still indicate that the discounted academe rate is subject to Congress approval, interested UP Diliman participants should use their UP email address when registering to facilitate verification of eligibility for the special academe group rate. Eligible participants may proceed with payment of the discounted fee of ₱1,000 per delegate despite the website still displaying the regular academe rate of ₱2,200.

The registration fee includes access to all conference sessions and snacks for both days of the Congress. The event provides an opportunity for participants to connect academic learning with industry practice, engage with professionals and thought leaders, and gain insights into emerging methodologies, technologies, and future industry trends.
