Hello there! The UP Diliman Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs’ #OpportunitiesCorner is an update on available scholarships, exchange programs, conferences, workshops, and other skill-enhancing initiatives for UP Diliman students. Here’s for the 5th week of January 2025:

LMINT & STAR SCHOLARSHIPS IN ITALY

Applications are now open for the University of Brescia (UNIBS) “STAR-Students At Risk” scholarships, available for three-year Bachelor’s degree programs and two-year Master’s degree programs, as well as for LMINT scholarships for English-taught Master’s degrees!

ERNST MACH GRANT IN AUSTRIA

The Ernst Mach Grant – ASEA-UNINET offers scholarships for researchers and students from the Philippines and other eligible countries to pursue studies in Austria. Scholarships are available for the following research fields: Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Human Medicine (Health Sciences), Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts. This grant supports full PhD programs, postdoctoral research stays, and studies in music practice at ASEA-UNINET member universities in Austria.

Eligibility:

Type of grant: Semester and/or one-year grants, Research grants, Grants for whole degree programs in the target country

Duration:
Music Practice: 9 months
Full PhD: 36 months
Postdoc: 4 to 9 months

Grant benefits:
Monthly Scholarship: 1,300 Euro
Monthly Mobility Subsidy: 300 Euro (only for Full PhD Grant)
Note: Supplementary grant, own funds are required!

FREE INDONESIAN LANGUAGE COURSE

The Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) invites language and culture enthusiasts to join the Fun Bahasa Indonesia and Cultural Course Program (FBICC).

 

 

“FBICC is a basic or beginner level Indonesia language course and was initiated in 2020 as a means to provide global citizens with the opportunity to learn basic Bahasa Indonesia and gain insights into Indonesian culture. Since its inception, FBICC has witnessed significant success, with more than 3000 participants from more than 110 countries joining the program since 2020.”
