Fraternity Summit 2014

(NOV. 14)—Resolve hazing and strongly deal with this issue; help the administration achieve zero-rate frat rumbles in UP Diliman (UPD) and join in collaborative projects for the University. Talastasan sa Diliman: Assessing the Results of ST System Applications in UPD (28 November 2014)

Talastasan sa Diliman is a series of forums organized by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (OVCSA) in cooperation with different student groups and other organizations in and out of the University. Last month, the inaugural Talastasan was held in partnership with the Philippine Collegian and the National Service Traning Program (NSTP) of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy designed to examine the contemporary role and relevance of student activism. It was participated by the University’s key student political alliances and attended by hundreds of students.

This month’s Talastasan is scheduled on Friday, 28 November 2014, 5:30-7:00 pm, at the CSSP Audio-Visual Room (Palma Hall 207). It aims to assess the results of the Socialized Tuition (ST) System applications in UP Diliman that were processed this year. It will feature the presentations of University Registrar Evangeline Amor and the Office of Scholarships and Student Services (OSSS) Officer-in-Charge Niel Kenneth Jamandre. Members of the University Student Council, the main partner of OVCSA for this month’s forum, will lead the panel of reactors.

Online Tuition Loan Application Procedure

1.  Log-in your UP Webmail username and password at http://www.crs.upd.edu.ph
2.  Click the Tuition Loan Application and select the amount of loan you wish to apply.
3.  Fill up the tuition loan application form.
4.  Print two (2) sets of the tuition loan application
4.1 Student will sign both copies as debtor and put his/her thumbmark
4.2 Parent, relative, spouse will sign both copies as co-debtor
5.  Attach the following:
5.1  One (1) 1”x1” ID picture for each set:
5.2 One (1) photocopy each of co-debtor’s valid ID and student’s UP ID card (if available) as attachment for verification  f the signature.
6.  Bring the accomplished form and attachments to the Student Loans Office, Office of Scholarships and Student Services, 3rd Floor, Vinzons Hall.
7.  Approved loan forms will be stamped “Approved” and countersigned by Student Loan staff.
8.  Bring approved form to the Cashier’s Office for payment.
