ASEAN–JAPAN YOUNG ENVIRONMENTAL LEADERS NETWORK (AJYELN) 2.0

The ASEAN–Japan Young Environmental Leaders Network (AJYELN) 2.0 is now accepting applications! This regional program empowers youth from ASEAN Member States and Japan to design and implement community-based projects tackling plastic pollution.

Program Theme: Youth for a Plastic-Resilient Region: Action. Innovation. Transformation.
This year’s theme invites young people to go beyond conversations and take real, solution-driven steps to address plastic pollution in their communities.

GLOBAL YOUTH DIPLOMACY MODEL UNITED NATIONS 2026

Applications are now open for the Global Youth Diplomacy Model United Nations (GYDMUN), happening on 1–4 July 2026 at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This prestigious international conference welcomes students and young leaders from around the world to engage in UN-style debates, leadership simulations, and cultural exchange. With mentorship from top university coaches and Harvard alumni, GYDMUN is designed to be 88% beginner-friendly while offering international certificates, awards, and global networking opportunities.

Age requirement: 11–26 years old
Nationality and Education: Open to all
Experience: No minimum requirement
English skills: Minimum basic to intermediary

ASEAN SYMPOSIUM FOR YOUTH LEADERS 2026
The call for applications for the ASEAN Symposium for Youth Leaders 2026 is now open, offering ASEAN students a chance to engage in governance and public policy training at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore. The symposium will feature plenaries, dialogues, workshops, and curated learning journeys.

  • Who can apply: Current students from ASEAN Institutes of Higher Learning with strong interest in governance, public policy, and international affairs
  • Selection process: Short video + essay submission via registration form
  • Notification of results: 31 May 2026
  • Commitment: Participants must attend the full 3-day symposium
  • Support: Travel and accommodation sponsorship available for selected overseas participants
