Central South University, China: Scholarship for Excellent Students

CSU, a top 20 in China, boasts complete discipline categories, ranging from liberal arts to science and engineering. Essential Science Indicators of 16 disciplines are among the top 1% in the world. In particular, that of Materials Science, Engineering and Clinical Medicine are among the top 1‰ around the globe. Besides, CSU has established long-term cooperation with more than 200 universities and research institutes in over 40 countries and regions.

As an open university, we embrace young talents from all over the world, providing the platform to help them achieve their dreams. We have academic degree programs of bachelor, master and doctorate, and non-academic programs like Chinese learning and exchanges. Moreover, we offer various types of scholarships, namely:

ROSATOM Scholarships

The Russian Embassy in the Philippines informed us that the State Atomic Energy Corporation (ROSATOM) is offering scholarship opportunities for Bachelor’s Degree (4 years), Specialist Degree (5 years), Master’s Degree (2 years), and Postgraduate studies (4 years) in Nuclear Technology and in related fields – (i) nuclear medicine; (ii) physics; (iii) chemical technology; and (iv) material science power engineering.

ASEAN-China Young Leaders Scholarship (ACYLS) 2021 Program

The Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs (OVCAA), through its Office of International Linkages (OIL) Diliman, is calling for application by regular UPD faculty to the ASEAN-China Young Leaders Scholarship (ACYLS) 2021 Program.

The ASEAN-China Young Leaders Scholarship Program (ACYLS) is an initiative in response to the call of the Leaders of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and ASEAN Member States (AMS) to increase people-to-people exchanges, strengthen educational cooperation, and promote academic exchanges and linkages between AMS and the PRC, in an effort to foster a third pillar of socio-cultural and people to-people exchanges within the ASEAN-China relationship towards building a closer community of shared future.

ACYLS is a dedicated project for ASEAN nationals, in particular, young and promising professionals with working experience in ASEAN Member States. The Chinese government will provide funding for ACYLS mainly through the ASEAN-China Cooperation Fund (ACCF).
