CALL FOR PAPERS: 6th CONFERENCE ON HUMAN RIGHTS

The 6th Conference on Human Rights, which will be held on October 25-26 2023, provides a platform for academics, human rights activists and practitioners to explore current human rights issues in Southeast Asia and beyond. 

Carrying the theme “Indigeneity and Human Rights in Asia and the Pacific towards a Just Society: Challenges and Opportunities,” the conference will be held in a hybrid format with the on-site venue being at the University of Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta,Indonesia. 

It will be a platform for academics, human rights practitioners, civil society organizations, and governments to explore human rights issues in Southeast Asia and beyond.

The deadline for the submission of paper abstracts is on 31 March 2023.

SAMSUNG CREATE NATIONAL IDEA CONTEST

This national research-based idea contest encourages innovative applications of the latest global tech trends to elevate the lives of Filipinos. 

For its inaugural edition, the theme for Samsung Create is “Ideate to elevate: Unfold the future of the Filipinos using the latest global tech trends: Artificial Intelligence, Immersive/Metaverse, Robotics, and Network/Connectivity.”

This idea contest is open for all participants aged 18-30 yrs old, and currently residing in the Philippines.

2023 MECO-TECO SANDWICH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The 2023 MECO-TECO Sandwich Scholarship Program is now open for applications!

The MECO-TECO SSP is open to master’s and doctoral students who would like to conduct their research in a university or research institution in Taiwan.

MECO-TECO SSP recipients are granted with a stipend of NT$20,000 for MS student and NTS30,000 for PhD student per month from NSTC, while DOST grants scholars with relocation assistance of Php30,000.00, one round trip economy airfare, and travel and accident insurance.

Deadline of application is on 15 March 2023.
