HACKATHON ON AI & BANKING INDUSTRY
Springboard Philippines, together with Robinsons Offices and Orange & Bronze, invites UP students to join Hack-it! The Next Era of Banking. It is a 2-day hackathon bringing together bank executives, fintech leaders, AI experts, and student innovators, to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping the future of financial services.
This offers students the chance to:
- Gain hands-on experience solving real-world fintech challenges
- Engage with industry mentors and AI experts through tech talks and workshops
- Showcase their skills to potential employers and industry leaders

ASEAN FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM IN KOREA
The Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) is now accepting applications for its 2025 ASEAN Visiting Fellowship Program to promote policy-relevant academic exchanges and studies between the Republic of Korea (ROK) and ASEAN member states. Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) has established ASEAN Visiting Fellowship Program in order to promote policy-relevant academic exchanges and studies between Republic of Korea (ROK) and ASEAN member states. The Program is intended to provide scholars and experts in Southeast Asia with an opportunity to visit and stay in ROK for an extended period of time, interact with scholarly and policy community in Korea, and perform policy-relevant study on ROK-ASEAN related issues. KNDA will provide all the necessary financial support for the visiting fellows, including airfare both ways and living expenses, for the entire period of their stay in Korea.
Eligibility
- Mid-career professionals who hold a doctoral degree in a relevant academic field, or have
equivalent levels of professional and research experiences. - Southeast Asian nationals who are currently employed or working in a research institution,
university/college, or other relevant institutions in ASEAN member states. - The research topic proposed by the applicant should be in the area of international relations of
Southeast Asia or include ASEAN-related matters that have relevant policy implications for ROK
or ROK-ASEAN relations.

- A round-trip economy-class air ticket
- Monthly stipend for the cost of living
- A research grant on condition that the fellow completes the required fellowship responsibilities stated above within the research period.
- Fellows will be provided with access to office space and supplies, computing and printing facilities, a landline telephone, and access to the KNDA library and other KNDA facilities.

RESEARCH TRAINING FELLOWSHIP IN INDIA
Amity Group of Educational Institutions invites Master’s degree holders in Natural Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Medicine, or allied fields to apply for the ASEAN-India Research Training Fellowship (AI-RTF).
Amity Education Group, India, is the host institution for the fellows under the ASEAN India Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation.
Fellowship areas
(research topic must be ASEAN centric and aligned with the ASEAN Plan of Action on Science, Technology and Innovation (APASTI))
- Agricultural Sciences
- Biological and Medical Sciences
- Chemical Sciences & Engineering
- Computer Science & Engineering
- Physical Sciences and Mathematics
- Ocean, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences
- Engineering Sciences
- Materials, Minerals and Metallurgy
- Science Policy / IPR Management / Technology Transfer & Commercialisation
- Other multi-disciplinary areas of Science, Technology and Innovation in alignment with APASTI.
Eligibility and requirements
- Applicant must be holding nationality of any of the ASEAN Member State.
- Possess at-least a Masters Degree in any Natural Sciences or an equivalent degree in Technology / Engineering / Medicine / allied disciplines.
- Applicant should be working / studying and / or affiliated to any national R&D or academic institution in his/ her home ASEAN Member State. The application should be endorsed by the Head of his/ her institution confirming that if selected, he/ she will be sanctioned leave for the Fellowship period and will join his/ her duties back in the institution on completion of the Fellowship in India.
- The upper age limit for the applicant is 45 years as on date of submission of application.
- Fluency in English language
- Indian nationals are not eligible for the Fellowship.
- ASEAN applicants who have availed any fellowship scheme of Govt of India during last 3 years are not ELIGIBLE to apply.
- The proposed research work in India must be linked/connected and add value to any of the on-going research project/scheme of the Indian host Institute.
Benefits
Financial assistance to the selected fellows for:
- Round trip international airfare by lowest economy class and by shortest route from the international airport in the home country of the applicant to the international airport nearest to the host institution in India; visa fees, overseas medical insurance etc.
- A consolidated Fellowship amount of Indian Rupees (INR) 60,000 per month.
- One-time grant of INR 40,000/- as research contingency expenses, airport transfers, domestic travel for attending scientific /events and field-trips within India.
- Institutional overhead charges @ Rs. 2,500/- per month.
- The allowance as in (a), (b) and (c) will be released to the host institution in India for disbursement to the Fellow. The host Institution will arrange appropriate accommodation for the Fellow on payment basis.
