The program, delivered by the ASEAN-Australia Strategic Youth Partnership, or AASYP, and the eSafety Commissioner of Australia (eSafety),  will spotlight the importance of a human rights-based approach to online safety regulation and foster a Safety by Design mindset in emerging leaders and future educational and advocacy initiatives.

The program will begin with a series of virtual education workshops led by the experts from eSafety, providing foundational knowledge on online safety and our region.

Delegates will then convene for a two-day Model UN-style conference in Bangkok, Thailand, on the 2nd and 3rd of May 2024. As a delegate, you will work in a team of four alongside your fellow country representatives, to produce a resolution on the topic of online safety and human rights-based regulation at the end of the two days.

Successful applicants will be provided with funding to support their participation in the program, designed to cover the full costs of attendance at D2R in Bangkok.
