OVCSA releases virtual Freshie Kit 2020 with video-catalogue
The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (OVCSA) just released the Freshie Kit 2020: A UP Diliman Primer for Freshies with accompanying video-catalogue of the Freshie Orientation Program and University Welcome Assembly 2020 held on 14 September 2020.
Based on the recently concluded online program, the Freshie Kit 2020 is an interactive, clickable PDF containing useful information for freshies to get started on their UP journey, including tips to study and survive in a remote learning environment, support services available to students, and contact information of essential offices of UP Diliman.
To introduce UP Diliman to freshies in a remote learning semester, the kit and video-catalogue also contain special features on UP Diliman and its environment (The UP Diliman Community: An Overview), emphasizing on the broad community that comprises it and the core values of honor, excellence, and academic freedom on which UP is built as a university.
The kit and video-catalogue also feature the video performances of beloved UP performing groups at the online program, including the UP Repertory Company’s Isko Dimagiba: Makakapasok kaya sa Iskul?, the UP Pep Squad’s traditional UP Cheer Tutorials, and the UP Symphony Orchestra’s rendition of UP Naming Mahal.
