Crossing Divides around the Globe

The British Council would like to invite everyone to Crossing Divides around the Globe, a new project we are delivering in partnership with the BBC this May 2022.

‘Crossing Divides around the Globe’ will train 1000 young people from 100 countries in Deep Listening. Deep listening is an approach that helps us feel recognised and understood, so that we can lower our defences and be open to other perspectives and beliefs. Read more about the impact Deep Listening can have here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-60558016.

Participants will receive six (6) hours of training on deep listening and will have opportunity to engage with other young people from around the globe. They need to be aged 18-34 in May 2022, have a good level of English and good access to the internet to join the training. For more information and to apply visit www.eventsforce.net/crossingdivides.
